With more than 20 years’ experience in optimizing poorly performing corporate and government bureaucracies, I’ve seen how under-performing departments and governments alike hang onto their budgets with limited increase in value. It’s not really any one person’s fault, it’s just how things work and we have to go in and clean up from time to time.
Capable
Having spent most of my life in the private sector optimizing corporate bureaucracy, processes, and procedures, but I have also had numerous government clients- I know what it takes to get the job done for minimal cost – drawing upon a wide variety of frameworks ranging from Six Sigma to common sense.
RECONCILatory
Look, I’ve seen how combative the modern political process has become, and I suppose part of that is even necessary to helps all grow into hopefully stronger and more capable people, but I also think that we can do better. I strive to understand my opponents’ points of view and reconcile the many contradictory voices in our society to achieve a more holistic and yet efficient outcome.
Practical
We didn’t get here over night and so things aren’t going to change over night. It will take incremental steps to reduce unnecessary interference in your life. Give myself and the Libertarian philosophy a trial run – a fair shake, and if things don’t get better in a few years, you can always go right back to fighting in the two-party system!
What’s with Grizzle and the Bear Logo?
I’ve had a beard for awhile and my friends just started calling me by the name Grizzle one day. I believe they were referring to Grizzly Adams which is a television show I enjoyed in my youth.
